Welcome to the Johns Hopkins University Safety Office.

The University Safety Office strives to foster a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the Johns Hopkins University community. We provide guidance and direction in occupational safety and health, environmental control, and chemical safety.

The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department protects all members of the University community by developing and implementing effective occupational and environmental management practices. Our purpose is to promote a culture where the highest standards for health and safety are met and surpassed. The following information will help you do your part in reaching that goal.
