Severe Weather Plan
Unless there are severe weather conditions
(torrential rain, and/or lightning) the ceremony will be
held outdoors on Homewood Field. In case of severe weather
conditions that make it unsafe to hold a ceremony outside,
there may be an abbreviated ceremony.
If it becomes necessary to cancel the afternoon ceremony,
an announcement will be made no later than 12:00 noon on
the University website,
and the Weather Emergency Line, (410-516-7781). If this
plan is implemented, graduates may pick up their diplomas
in the Goldfarb Gymnasium in the Newton White Athletic
Center from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. After picking up diplomas,
graduates should meet their parents in the lobby of the
Ralph S. O Connor Recreation Center, where the president,
volunteers and staff will be on hand to greet them.
