The Johns Hopkins University - Commencement 2010

Commencement Information By School

This year's Johns Hopkins University commencement ceremony will be something new. A single ceremony -- for all graduates from all divisions and all campuses -- will take place on Homewood Field on Thursday, May 27, 2010. Procession begins at 8:40 a.m.

In particular this will represent a change for graduating seniors in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and in the Whiting School of Engineering. No longer will they be asked to attend two ceremonies in one day -- the first where their degrees are officially conferred and the second to distribute their diplomas -- as the procedures have been streamlined and combined into the new unified university-wide event.
