January 2007
Dear Parents:
On behalf of the Class of 2007, I hope that you
will accept my sincere invitation to attend our
Commencement and graduation ceremonies. This will
be one of the most memorable times of our lives,
and we want to share this special day with you.
The Johns Hopkins University has a proud and rich
commencement tradition. At the University-wide
Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 17, 2007,
at 9:15 a.m., the senior class will officially
become graduates of the University. The second
ceremony, the Undergraduate Diploma Ceremony,
will be at 1:45 p.m. that afternoon, and seniors
from the Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and
Sciences and the G.W.C. Whiting School of
Engineering will be called to the stage to shake
hands with President William Brody and the deans
of the schools. We strongly encourage you to
attend both ceremonies.
Your love and encouragement made it possible for
us to reach our goals and dreams here at Johns
Hopkins. I speak for my entire class when I say
that we look forward to sharing this momentous
occasion with you.
Warm regards,
Ex Pow-anpongkul
President, Class of 2007
