The academic exercises ending the university's 131st year
will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, at Homewood
Field.
At that ceremony, President William R. Brody will confer
bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees and certificates
on graduates from all eight of the university's schools.
The schools also have scheduled diploma award ceremonies or
other convocations at which they will further recognize the
achievements of their own graduates. Those will take place
at various times from Wednesday, May 16, through Friday,
May 18.
This Web site will furnish you with information on the
university-wide ceremony, ceremonies at the schools,
parking, Baltimore hotels and restaurants, and other
logistics. It also includes information of interest about
previous Commencements at Johns Hopkins and will be updated
after this year's ceremonies with links that will help you
to remember this special event.
Check back often as the big day approaches, and
congratulations to our graduates and their
families.
Looking ahead to 2008 ... Commencement
2008 will be held on Thursday, May 22.
