Interests: As a Writing Seminars major, I am of course very interested in literature and writing. My absolute favorite author is Victor Hugo, though modern literature interests me as well. Fiction writing is something that is very special to me: I feel most connected to people when I am either reading their fiction, or sharing my own. One of my greatest passions, however, is education. Nothing would make me happier than dedicating the rest of my life to improving education in this country, particularly in urban middle schools. I hope that through my writing and my teaching, I will be able to make a significant impact in young peoples' lives.
