I just came back from a series of conferences. The first of these was a relatively small, informal workshop on black hole ringdown called Ringdown Inside and Out, and I was on the Scientific Organizing Committee. The second was a much larger conference called Black Holes Inside and Out. I also gave a public talk at the Planetarium with Johan Samsing, Netta Engelhardt and Frans Pretorius.
