Security Update

HOMEWOOD: At 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 12, Officer Thomas Scribner
detained two juveniles running across the Upper Quad.
Investigation revealed they were being sought by the
Baltimore City Police for fleeing a stolen vehicle stopped in
the 100 block of East 32nd Street. Baltimore police responded
and took custody of the two juveniles.
On Aug. 9, the Homewood campus experienced its first
vehicle theft of 1994 when a four-wheel drive vehicle was
taken from "J" lot. Northern District police advise that
vehicle thefts have increased in the area. Four-wheel sport
vehicles have been particularly attractive to thieves.
