JHMI Security is Redesigned

After careful assessment of security needs of the Johns
Hopkins Medical Institutions campus, Corporate Security
Services has redesigned its look and method of operations.
    Protective services officers--volunteers from the
current security officer structure--now patrol the exterior.
The officers underwent a rigorous selection and certified
training process.
Additionally, the officers now sport "trooper-style,"
easily identifiable uniforms.
Another program recently implemented is a Crime Solvers
hotline at 614-3903. The hotline is a 24-hour, recorded
telephone line designed to assist investigators in solving
campus crime. Anyone with information about campus offenses
is asked to call the hotline; callers are not asked to give
their names.
To offer feedback on the changes in Corporate Security
Services call 614-3473, or pass comments along to a
protective services officer.
