More than 200 staff members from the Homewood and Peabody campuses were honored April 20 for their combined 1,710 years of service to the university.

In the 22nd annual Staff Recognition Reception, held at the Glass Pavilion, Homewood campus, 30 staff members were recognized for 15 years of service, 74 for 10 years and 104 for five years. They were welcomed by Audrey Smith, vice president for human resources, and Jim McGill, senior vice president for administration, who had just celebrated his one-year anniversary at Hopkins.

Pewter key rings with a university seal were given to those with five years of service, an etched crystal paperweight to those with 10 and a clock with a Hopkins seal to those with 15.

Staff celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35 and more years of service will be recognized at a dinner in June.
