|
On the first Monday in October, U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno
and Maryland Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr. joined forces
in the Bloomberg Center's Schafler Auditorium to address the
issue of gun violence in the United States. The appearance was
part of First Monday 2000: Unite to End Gun Violence, a
nationwide program co-sponsored by the Alliance for Justice and
Physicians for Social Responsibility, which seeks to mobilize
the next generation of advocates to further the cause of justice.
