On Nov. 7 winners were selected in a lottery drawing of names of employees who had donated $35 or more to the 2002 United Way campaign. The grand prize, a Dell portable PC, went to Emily Erbelding, an assistant professor at the School of Medicine.

The university hopes that employees will continue to support the businesses whose generous contributions to the lottery have helped Hopkins' efforts to reach its goals.
