Daffodil Days Raises Nearly $5,000 to Fight
Cancer
|
|
On two gorgeous early spring days in March, Hopkins
volunteers sold daffodils in bouquets and pots, raising
$4,900.50 for the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days
fund-raiser, held at eight sites throughout the Hopkins
institutions. The daffodil was chosen as a symbol of hope
for a cure for cancer. The
Office of
Faculty, Staff and Retiree Programs coordinates the
annual event.
