![]() The Bloomberg School of Public Health celebrated staff members' often unsung contributions at the annual staff recognition reception held on June 12 in the Wolfe Street Building student lounge and courtyard. Dean Al Sommer thanked the honorees for their many years of dedicated service to Johns Hopkins and then presented gifts and shook hands along with Audrey Smith, the university's vice president for human resources, and Herb Hansen, the school's senior associate dean for finance and administration. Deans, faculty and administrators served lemonade as guests enjoyed a buffet with a star-spangled theme. One hundred twenty individuals were recognized with gifts commemorating five, 10 or 15 years of service to the university. Those celebrating milestone anniversaries of 20 or more years were honored at the previous week's staff recognition dinner at Homewood ( elsewhere in this issue of The Gazette) but also were invited to share in their school's celebration.
