Holiday Schedule Notice
Consistent with the published university holiday schedule,
the university will be closed half-day on Wednesday, Dec.
24; all day Thursday, Dec. 25; half-day on Wednesday, Dec.
31; and all day Thursday, Jan. 1.
A liberal leave plan is in effect for Friday, Dec.
26.

International Society Candy-Grams
The JHMI International Society will offer candy-grams for
sale from noon to 1 p.m. on Dec. 15, 16 and 17 in the
Broadway Corridor.
Recipients — JHMI postdocs, students,
professors, advisers, friends or others — must have
an East Baltimore campus address. Each candy-gram costs $1.

Wellness Classes
The Office of
Benefits Administration, in conjunction with
Occupational Health
Services, is offering the following classes to JHU
faculty and staff:
Yoga classes (all levels) will be held from
noon to 1 p.m., Mondays/Wednesdays beginning Jan. 6, on the
Homewood campus. Cost for the 10-week session is $30 or $50
for classes taken once or twice a week.
Seated massage will continue to be offered on
the Homewood, East Baltimore and Eastern campuses. Cost is
$10 for a 15-minute massage given by a certified massage
therapist.
Muscle conditioning and toning classes will be
held Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
on the Homewood campus beginning Jan. 6. Cost for the
10-week session is $25 or $45 for classes taken once or
twice a week.
CPR/AED classes will be held on the Homewood

Weight Watchers at Work will begin a 14-week
session on Tues., Jan. 13. The class will meet at noon;
cost for the class is $148.
Mindfulness Meditation will provide tools for
calming the mind and body and reducing stress. Classes
begin Jan. 8. Cost for the eight-week session is $30.
