United Way Kick-Off Events Scheduled This Week at
Nursing, Homewood Campus
The Homewood divisions and the School of Nursing will
kick off the 2004
United Way Campaign for Central Maryland this week.
The Homewood event will take place at noon on
Thursday, Sept. 23, in Shriver Hall Auditorium. The short
ceremony will include a video presentation, music and
testimonials from individuals who have been helped by the
United Way. Following the presentation, all who attend are
invited to gather on the lower quad to enjoy complimentary
hot dogs, chips and soda. For additional information,

The School of Nursing kick-off will take place at noon
on Friday, Sept. 24, in the Carpenter Room. This ceremony
will include distribution of pledge forms, music and an
agency speaker. Following the ceremony, lunch will be

Kick-off events will be held at other campuses in
October, and details will be provided at a later date.
