JHFCU Annual Meeting
Members of the Johns
Hopkins Federal Credit Union are invited to hear about
the credit union's past-year accomplishments and upcoming
plans at the annual meeting on Wednesday, April 27, in the
Glass Pavilion, Homewood campus. Following hors d'ouevres,
which begin at 5:15 p.m., a brief business meeting at 6
p.m. will include the election for open board of directors
seats. Door prizes will be distributed at the end of the

Certificate in Nonprofit Studies
The Institute for Policy Studies is
now accepting applications for summer classes in the
Certificate in
Nonprofit Studies Program. This part-time program is
designed to develop and enhance the knowledge and practical
skills needed by nonprofit staff and volunteers to run
successful organizations. Courses, which include Program
Development and Resolving Differences Constructively, are
held in Baltimore and Washington, D.C. The certificate
courses may be applied toward a nonprofit concentration in
the Johns Hopkins MBA and/or MS/ODSHR degrees. Classes

East Baltimore Cleanup
Volunteers are needed for the 10th annual East Baltimore
Cleanup from 8:30 to noon on Saturday, April 23. The JHHS
Division of Corporate and Community Services joins the
Historic East Baltimore Community Action Coalition to
organize the event. Tools and lunch will be provided.
