Golf Tournament Volunteers Needed

The Constellation Energy Classic returns to Hayfields Country Club in Hunt Valley Sept. 12-18. Johns Hopkins is recruiting affiliates to volunteer at the event and spend time alongside such golf legends as Wayne Levi and Peter Jacobsen.

The first 35 Hopkins employees who volunteer for two six-hour shifts as hole marshalls on behalf of the Robert Packard Center for ALS Research at Johns Hopkins — one of the beneficiaries of the event — will have their volunteer fee underwritten by SunTrust Bank. Sign up before June 1 and pay a registration fee of $65 (after June 1, $75); the fee for the first 35 to sign up will be refunded after they meet their volunteer commitment.

The volunteer package includes a golf shirt, wind vest and hat or visor; weeklong parking pass; meals while working; volunteer appreciation party invitation; and $50 worth of McCormick & Schmick's gift certificates.
