Beneficiaries of the largesse of Johns Hopkins gather to
express their gratitude

Two hundred and twelve years after his birth on a tobacco
plantation in southern Maryland, Johns Hopkins —
Baltimore businessman, investor (most notably, in the
Baltimore and Ohio Railroad) and philanthropist — was
remembered by those who have benefited from his greatest
legacy, the university and hospital that bear his name.

The leadership of HopkinsOne has launched a series of
actions to address
concerns, especially over training, that faculty and staff
raised in a recent large-scale survey of the software
system's users.

Director of student financial services
resigns
Ellen Frishberg, director of student financial
services at the Homewood campus of The Johns Hopkins
University since 1989, has submitted her resignation, the
university said last week. Frishberg resigned on May 18,
effective immediately.
