Deadline for Daffodil Days Bear

NHLBI Short Course on Myocite Modeling
Biomedical researchers and clinician-scientists with a
strong interest in understanding the process of developing,
implementing and applying mathematical
biological system models are invited to apply for the NHLBI
Integrative Computational Modeling of
the Cardiac Myocyte Short Course, which will be offered July 20
to 24 at the Mount Washington
Conference Center. The deadline to apply is June 1.
The course is limited to 17 participants to ensure a small
instructor to student ratio. Students
will be selected based on the strength of their current research
activities. Interest in this course and
degree of benefit from taking it will also be taken into
consideration. Programming experience is
recommended. The NIH-NHLBI requires that applicants be a U.S.
citizen, noncitizen national of the
United States or hold a green card at the time of the
