Cherry Blossom Festival Trip
The Johns Hopkins International Society is offering a trip
to the
annual Cherry Blossom Festival and the Smithsonian Museums
in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, April 4.
The bus leaves at 8 a.m., returning at 7 p.m. All are
welcome. Cost is $15 per person.

Technology Fellowship Grants
Applications are invited for the 2009-2010 Technology
Fellowship
Program, a mini-grant initiative administered by the Center for Educational
Resources of the Sheridan
Libraries. The program is intended to encourage faculty to
develop creative uses of digital
technologies to enhance teaching and learning by partnering
with student fellows.
Teams must include at least one faculty member who
teaches undergraduates, and at least one
full-time graduate or undergraduate student.
Full details are available in the "Program Guidelines"
document through the CER Web site,
www.cer.jhu.edu. Applications are accepted through March
31; awards will be announced in mid-April.
Funding for these awards is available from June 2009 to May
2010.

Information Meeting for CTY Student Qualifiers,
Prospects
Johns Hopkins faculty, staff and students with an
academically talented second-to-sixth-grader in their homes
are invited to an information meeting about the summer
courses offered by the university's Center for Talented
Youth.
The meeting takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday,
March 22, at St. Paul's (Upper) School,
11152 Falls Rd., Brooklandville. CTY staff will answer
questions for families of CTY-qualified students
and for families of second-to-sixth-graders who would like
to know how to qualify for CTY's summer
courses for academically talented students. Reservations
are not necessary.
