Hopkins Picnic Promises Fun For Everybody The annual Hopkins Picnic will be held Thursday, July 13, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on the Homewood campus baseball field, at the corner of Charles Street and University Parkway, across from the Athletic Center. Faculty, staff, students, retirees, families and friends are invited to attend the festivities that include food, beverages, music, volleyball, softball and kiddie corral with supervised children's activities. Tickets are $6 for adults in advance ($8 at the gate), $3 for children 3 to 12 years old ($4 at the gate) and free for children 2 years old and under. Register in advance since a limited number of tickets will be available at the gate. Registration information was included in the June 15 paychecks.
