![]() At a reception on April 28, 207 staff members from university administration, the Peabody Institute, the Johns Hopkins Club, the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Continuing Studies, academic cultural centers and Homewood Student Affairs were recognized for their service to the university--a total of 1,625 years. After being welcomed by Audrey Smith, vice president, human resources, attendees were presented with awards in honor of their five-year anniversaries. Pewter key rings with a Hopkins seal were given to those celebrating five years of service, an etched crystal paperweight to those with 10 years and a clock with the Hopkins seal to those with 15 years. Staff celebrating 20, 25, 30, 35 and more years of service will be recognized at a dinner in June. Tuesday's event was held in the Glass Pavilion on the Homewood campus.
