Security Alert

Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions:
The incidence of theft at the hospital during recent weeks
has increased, primarily in and around the Meyer, CMSC, Halsted,
Nelson and Harvey buildings.

The security office at the Medical Institutions strongly
recommends that all employees raise their level of vigilance in
securing their personal and institutional property.

Lock your offices and do not leave valuables unattended or
unsecured.

The JHMI security office has begun initiatives to combat
this problem, and officers request staff, student and faculty
assistance in making this a successful effort.

You are encouraged to call the security office, at 955-5585,
immediately if you notice suspicious persons in your area. The
security hotline, at 614-3903, can be used to provide information
anonymously.
