Security Update

Wednesday, June 26, 9:43 p.m. A student withdrawing money from an ATM machine at 3119 St. Paul St. was approached from behind by a male who held his hand in a pocket--as if armed--and demanded money. The assailant grabbed the money from the student's hand, then fled on foot with another male who was standing outside, possibly as a lookout. The student was not injured.

Arrest made: On June 26, a former Hopkins employee was arrested and charged with theft over $300. As a result of a university audit and investigation, Baltimore City police detectives obtained a warrant and recovered a significant amount of fraudulently obtained property.
