Light The Lights
|
|
Starting tonight, you'll see Hopkins in a whole new light.
Or, make that lights. While you've been reveling in fall at
Homewood, Wendy Brody, wife of President William R. Brody, has
been dreaming of winter. And at 5:15 p.m., she and President
Brody will flip the switch on thousands of bulbs studding
decorations that will shine above North Charles Street throughout
the holiday season.
The illumination is the university's contribution to the
Greater Homewood area's first annual Community of Lights, part of
the Greater Homewood Renaissance plan for a sparkling
neighborhood. The place to be to see the magic happen is in front
of the Eisenhower Library. Above, Wendy Brody gets ready with
some of the campus's Facilities Management team (from the left):
David Ashwood, Fred Quaster and Joe Znovena.
