Quick Look at the Fiscal 2019 Budget
2018 Session
The Governor’s proposed fiscal 2019 capital budget was also released on Wednesday. The $1 billion budget includes the following proposed funding of Johns Hopkins’ capital requests:
Other budget items of interest to Johns Hopkins include $250,000 each for the East Baltimore Technology Park and Roberta’s House; and $750,000 for the Comprehensive Autism Center at the Kennedy Krieger Institute.

This bill is a priority for the Maryland Collaborative to Reduce College Drinking and Related Problems. Hearing Date: Fri 2/23 1:00 PM Effective Date: July 1, 2018 SB253/HB213 Alcoholic Beverages - Sale of Powdered Alcohol - Prohibition Making permanent a prohibition on selling alcoholic beverages that are sold in a powder or crystalline form for direct use or use in combination with water or any other substance. This bill is a priority of the Maryland Collaborative to Reduce College Drinking and Related Problems.
