BILLS INTRODUCED
Health Care Administration & Finance HB520/SB406 Prenatal and Infant Care Coordination - Grant Funding and Task Force Requiring the Governor to include $5,000,000 in the annual budget beginning in fiscal year 2021 for the Maryland Prenatal and Infant Care Coordination Services Grant Program Fund; establishing the Task Force on Maryland Maternal and Child Health; requiring the Task Force to study and make recommendations regarding certain matters; requiring the Task Force to report its findings and recommendations to the General Assembly on or before November 1, 2019; etc. Hearing Date: Wed 2/27 1:00 PM Effective Date: July 1, 2019, October 1, 2019 SB1045 Maryland Health Insurance Plan Fund - Use of Remaining Balance Altering the fiscal years, from 2016 through 2019 to 2020 through 2022, in which the remaining fund balance in the Maryland Health Insurance Plan Fund obtained from the federal Medicare program or the Medicaid program may be used for certain activities related to high-needs Medicare and dually eligible individuals; etc. Hearing Date: Effective Date: July 1, 2019 [GO TO TOP] [GO TO BILL LIST] HB696/SB430 Maryland Health Care Commission - Authorized Prescribers - Reporting of Financial Gratuities or Incentives Requiring each authorized prescriber who receives a financial gratuity or incentive from a pharmaceutical distributor or manufacturer to file a certain disclosure form with the Maryland Health Care Commission within 30 days of the receipt of the financial gratuity or incentive; authorizing the Commission to impose a certain fine under certain circumstances; requiring the Commission to adopt certain regulations; defining certain terms; and providing for the application of the Act.
