Peter Andrew "Drew" Meyer was chosen this spring as one of twoHopkins students to be honored for their musicalaccomplishments. Meyer, who graduated May 25, 2000 with a Writing Seminars degree from the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, receivedthe Hopkins President's Commendation for Achievement in theArts. President Brody wrote, "Thecommittee felt that, ever since your arrival at Hopkins, youhave done much for the Homewood community by regularlyperforming solo and with your band in many on-and-off campusvenues. The popularity of your music among your fellow studentstestifies to the contributions you have made...."
