Free Outdoor Movies on the
Homewood Campus
Eight family-friendly movies will be screened Friday
nights this summer on the Keyser Quadrangle of The Johns
Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St.
in Baltimore.

Summer Programs Outdoor Films premieres Friday, June 9.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to
the green in front of Gilman Hall, informally known as the
upper quad, which will be transformed into an open-air
theater. Hot dogs, burgers, nachos, candy and drinks will
be for sale at 7:30 p.m., when Scooter Scudieri (firstrockstar.com) will
also perform. A free showing of "Walk the Line" follows at
8:30 p.m.
The same time frame applies to the rest of the movies
in the series. Mudd Hall Auditorium is the rain location
for each show.
June 16, "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (pre-show
TBA)
June 23, "King Kong," with pre-show entertainment by
Comedy Night with Adam Ruben & guests
June 30, "Viva Las Vegas," with pre-show entertainment
by Chris Presley, an Elvis impersonator
July 7, "Young Frankenstein," with pre-show
entertainment by Polyester
July 14, "Wallace & Grommit: The Curse of the Were-
Rabbit," with pre-show entertainment by DEFAWNK, a funk
band made up of Johns Hopkins undergraduates, and a balloon
sculptor
July 21, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch
and the Wardrobe," with live traditional Irish music as the
pre-show entertainment
July 28, "The Wizard of Oz," with pre-show
entertainment by The Swingin' Swamis
