Spring Fair 2008: April 25, 26 and 27

WHAT: The 37th annual Johns Hopkins Spring Fair, featuring:

♦ Free admission.
♦ Carnival rides and inflatable games.
♦ Eight free daytime concert performances
♦ 80 craft vendors with quality work hand-crafted by artisans from across the nation and other commercial goods such as jewelry, clothing, pottery, glassware, paintings, drawings, collectibles and literature.
♦ A children's section with free live performances, a petting zoo, a moon bounce, free books and constant free programming throughout the weekend.
♦ An extensive food court featuring a selection of 30 different food vendors.
♦ A non-profit section featuring 55 national and Johns Hopkins non-profit groups
♦ An art contest featuring the work of more than 20 artists
♦ Two daytime entertainment stages featuring Baltimore and student bands.
♦ Beer Garden featuring a variety of beers on tap, sangria and hard tea (Decker Gardens).

SPECIAL EVENT: Kickoff party, with free admission, on Thursday, April 24, at 10 p.m., on Levering Plaza, featuring a 10-minute fireworks show, music and beverages.
CONCERT: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Reel Big Fish, together in one concert, on Friday, April 25, at 7 p.m., on the Ralph O'Connor Recreation CenterPractice Field. Tickets are $20 to the general public and $10 to Johns Hopkins students with valid student IDs. Ticketing information is online at www.jhuspringfair.com.

Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beer Garden Hours
Friday, April 25, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 26, from noon to 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 27, from noon to 5 p.m.
