Spring Fair 2009: April 24, 25 and 26

WHAT: The 38th annual Johns Hopkins Spring Fair, featuring:

♦ Free admission.
♦ Carnival rides and inflatable games.
♦ Five Free daytime concert performances.
♦ 60 craft vendors with quality work hand-crafted by artisans from across the nation and other commercial goods such as jewelry, clothing, pottery, glassware, paintings, drawings, collectibles and literature.
♦ A children's section promoting literacy where children can step into their favorite stories through interactive games and contests.
♦ An extensive food court featuring a selection of 30 different food vendors.
♦ A non-profit section featuring 35 national and Johns Hopkins non-profit groups.
♦ Beer Garden featuring a variety of beers on tap (Decker Gardens).

CONCERT: The Roots, on Saturday, April 25, at 7 p.m., on the Ralph O'Connor Recreation Center Practice Field. Tickets are $25 for the general public and $10 for Johns Hopkins students with valid student IDs. Ticketing information is online at www.jhuspringfair.com and tickets.zooptix.com.

Friday, April 24, noon to 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beer Garden Hours
Friday, April 24, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, April 25, noon to 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 26, noon to 5 p.m.
