Three One-Act Plays by Chekhov

Three one-acts by Chekhov, The Bear, A Celebration and The Lecture, will be performed in the Merrick Barn Theater on the Homewood campus of The Johns Hopkins University, Friday through Sunday, Aug. 11-13. The performances are produced and directed by Greg Drozdek, actor, playwright and a 1995 graduate of Johns Hopkins.

This is Drozdek's third production, and the actors will be Hopkins students. All proceeds go to the JHU Student Athlete Mentor Program, a tutoring project founded by Drozdek for elementary students at the Dallas Nicholas school at 21st and Calvert streets.

All seats are $3 and times are 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 11 and 12, and 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13. Tickets will be sold at the door.
