Development Appointments and Promotions at Johns Hopkins

  • James J. Merlihan has been promoted from associate director to senior associate director for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Merlihan is a 1967 graduate of the University of Rochester.

  • Ann L. Koch, previously development officer for the University of Chicago library, has been appointed director of development for the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at The Johns Hopkins University. Koch graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1983 and earned a master's degree in humanities from the University of Chicago in 1992.

  • Janice M. Jachimowicz, previously director of annual giving at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, has been appointed director of development for the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Jachimowicz graduated from Michigan State University in 1989.
