Paula Ferris Einaudi has been named associate dean for resource planning and development at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences of The Johns Hopkins University. Previously, Einaudi was associate dean for development and alumni relations at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, which she joined in 1988.

Her new duties include overseeing all development and alumni relations efforts for the Krieger School, which has a constituency of more than 30,000 alumni and friends.

Einaudi graduated from Smith College in 1965. She earned a master's degree in romance languages and literature from Cornell University in 1967 and a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Colorado in 1974. She has taught at the University of Toronto, the University of Colorado, Smith College and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
