Moyer Appointed to Development Post at HopkinsCarl M. Moyer, formerly assistant vice president for development and alumni affairs at the Health Science Center of the University of Florida, has been appointed director of development for the Johns Hopkins Oncology Center.Moyer's principal responsibility will be fund raising for the cancer research and clinical buildings now under construction at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions campus in Baltimore. Moyer has previously served as vice president for development at the Geisinger Foundation in Danville, Pa., and as director of development for faculty and patients at Harvard Medical School. He is a 1963 graduate of Susquehanna University and earned a master of science in education from Bucknell University in 1969.
