| Re: | Odyssey Program Presents the Story of London in Four Great Ages |
The Johns Hopkins University non-credit Odyssey Program is hosting an all-day seminar on one of the most popular destinations for American travelers -- London. This mini-course immerses participants in the history, architecture, and culture of this great city. It is organized into four slide-illustrated lectures to give participants a view of London through the eyes of four of its most famous residents: Geoffrey Chaucer, Sir Christopher Wren, Thomas Gainsborough, and Queen Victoria.
The instructor is Philip Leonard, a staff lecturer in the Division of Education at the National Gallery of Art and a popular lecturer at the Smithsonian Associates Program.
The course will take place on Saturday April 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus, 3400 North Charles Street, Baltimore. Cost is $80. To register or for more information, please call 410-516-4842 or visit www.odyssey.jhu.edu.
