Media Adivsory: Researchers to Reveal
Newest Findings on Infant Universe on Thursday

WHAT: New results from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) satellite will be announced in a teleconference with researchers from Johns Hopkins and Princeton universities. The WMAP mission observes the oldest light in the universe, probing its infancy and growth.

WHO: Speakers will include:

  • Charles Bennett, Johns Hopkins, WMAP principal investigator
  • Lyman Page, Princeton, WMAP team member
  • David Spergel, Princeton, WMAP team member
  • Brian Greene, Columbia University, commentator (author of "The Elegant Universe" and "Fabric of the Cosmos")

  • WHEN: 12 noon EST, Thursday, March 16
