A Johns Hopkins University expert on international security and strategic defense issues is available to comment on the evolving situation in Pakinstan and its possible impact on United States strategic interests.
Steven R. David, a professor of political science and associate dean for academic affairs, researches and writes about international security, nuclear weapons and strategic defense. Among his publications are: Third World Coups d'Etat and International Security and Choosing Sides: Alignment and Realignment in the Third World, published by the Johns Hopkins University Press. In addition, he recently wrote about the threat of Civil Wars to U.S. security interests in an article in Foreign Affairs.
