Tabulated data from decaying, active grid turbulence experiment.

The table below presents energy spectra of longitudinal and transverse velocity components as function of longitudinal wavenumber, measured in the Corrsin wind tunnel downstream of an active grid at R_lambda = 720. The paper (Kang et al., JFM 2003) contains the relevant experimental details. The table below shows the average spectral energy density in bands between k_m and k_m+1. and is the same data as in Table 2 of Kang et al. However, due to an omission in the last step of our data-reduction routine, the table as published in the JFM article displays the energy integrated in wavenumber bins, but without normalizing with the width of the bins. The table below is the same data but now properly normalized, and corresponds to the spectra shown in Figure 4 of Kang et al.
