Open Office Hours -- East Baltimore open office hours for vice president of human resources Audrey Smith have been canceled for Tues., June 8. The next East Baltimore open office hours will be July 13, from 1 to 2 p.m.


Health Awareness Day -- A "Health Awareness Day" will take place on Wed., June 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Glass Pavilion on the Homewood campus. This educational event for faculty and staff will include cholesterol screening, seated massage, aerobic instruction and a healthy cooking demonstration. Refreshments will be served. Yoga Classes -- The Department of Occupational Health Services, in conjunction with Benefits Administration, is offering yoga classes for JHU faculty and staff. The classes will be Mondays and Thursdays, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., beginning Mon., June 7. To register, call 410-516-0450.


Falun Dafa Workshop -- A nine-day seminar to learn Falun Dafa is scheduled for Fri., June 4 through Wed., June 9, and on Sat., June 12, in the Garrett Room of the Eisenhower Library on the Homewood campus; and on Thurs., June 10, and Fri., June 11, in AMR1 Multipurpose Room on the Homewood campus. The seminars will run from 7 to 9 p.m.

A lecture on videotape will be presented with synchronous English translation. Assistants will teach the five sets of exercises. All Falun Dafa activities are free of charge.
