New 'Oldies but Goodies

Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

THE HOUSE WILL BE A ROCKIN' and the university hopes people will come a knockin' when an Oldies But Goodies Dance takes over Homewood's Glass Pavilion from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5. Once an annual event, the fundraiser will feature music from the '50s to the '90s, door prizes and a raffle wheel. Proceeds will go toward the 1999 United Way of Central Maryland. Admission, which is $12 in advance and $15 at the door, includes a buffet with soda; beer and wine will be available. Tickets will be sold on Oct. 15 and 29 in both Levering and Gilman halls.
