THE HOUSE WILL BE A ROCKIN' and the university hopes people will come a knockin' when an Oldies But Goodies Dance takes over Homewood's Glass Pavilion from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5. Once an annual event, the fundraiser will feature music from the '50s to the '90s, door prizes and a raffle wheel. Proceeds will go toward the 1999 United Way of Central Maryland. Admission, which is $12 in advance and $15 at the door, includes a buffet with soda; beer and wine will be available. Tickets will be sold on Oct. 15 and 29 in both Levering and Gilman halls. Pictured are Derrell Owens, an administrative assistant in Homewood Human Resources, and Chandra Marvin, an administrative assistant in the Office of Human Services.
