Tour the Tutorial Project and receive information on how to get involved with its programs.

The open house will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., in Levering Hall on the Homewod campus. For more information, contact Nadine Finigan, Teach Baltimore, at 410-516-6223 or Ann Forno, the Tutorial Project, at 410-516-7673.

Toner Cartridge Recycling Program for United Way -- Offices on the Homewood and East Baltimore campuses can now recycle laser or laserjet, deskjet, fax and certain copier cartridges through the Trash to Beams recycling program. On the East Baltimore campus, cartridges should be boxed and sent through interdepartmental mail to the new recycling coordinator, Latrenya Hines in Custodial Services, B031 Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Homewood campus offices should contact Patrick Moran, Homewood's recycling coordinator, at 6-5592 or pmoran@jhu.edu or to arrange for a pick-up. Cartridges should not be sent through Homewood campus mail. Drum-type cartridges from copiers are not accepted in either location.

For every recycled cartridge, Galam Computer Supplies makes a donation to the JHU United Way of Central Maryland campaign.
