Easter Egg Hunt -- The International Society of the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions will hold the annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to noon in Decker Garden (in front of the Hopkins Club). Alumni Association Student Funding Programs -- Two grants are available through the Alumni Association. The Community Service Grant was established to support valuable volunteer experiences for Hopkins students and to foster positive relationships between the university and the surrounding communities. The grant supports students who create their own community service projects or design their own ventures within existing volunteer organizations. Many past projects have focused on community outreach and education programs.

The Student Services Grant promotes the student experience at Hopkins by providing funding to student groups or programs and by supporting campus events and activities.

Both grants are open to undergraduate and graduate students from all divisions of the university. Applications are available at divisional alumni relations offices; Steinwald Alumni House, 3211 N. Charles St.; or online at alumni.jhu.edu/students.html.

Stop Smoking Class -- The Office of Benefits Administration is sponsoring a "Stop Smoking" class, to be held on six consecutive Thursdays, beginning April 4, from 1 to 2 p.m., on the Homewood campus. For information and to register, call 410-516-0450.

Program to Recruit Special Education Teachers -- SPSBE's Department of Special Education and the Prince George's County Public Schools Department of Special Education will hold two information sessions on federal grant partnership for a master of science in special education degree, offering 80 percent tuition assistance to recruit and train special education teachers. The sessions are scheduled for Thursday, March 21, and Thursday, April 9, at 4:30 p.m. on both days.
