As part of the information-gathering effort, participants will be asked to share their experiences so that their JHU colleagues can better understand the importance of the United Way in our community.

Host Family Program

The Johns Hopkins Host Family Program is designed to welcome incoming Hopkins students to the Baltimore community and ease their adjustment to a new environment. The program, which depends on alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Johns Hopkins, is managed by the Office of Alumni Relations and the Baltimore Alumni Chapter's Host Family Committee.

Hosting a student provides opportunities for both the host family and student to meet and develop meaningful friendships. Participation is voluntary. The level of participation is up to the host and the student.

To join the program, call the Office of Alumni Relations at 410-516-0363, or visit the alumni Web site at https://hopkinsnet.jhu.edu/servlet/page?_pageid=376&_ dad=portal30p&_schema=PORTAL30P.
