Pedal-Pushers Are Encouraged to Bike to JHMI on
Friday
In line with Clean Commute Month, the
School of Public
Health's
Center for a Livable Future is promoting a Johns
Hopkins Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 7.
Four separate convoys will commute to the East
Baltimore campus. The first, led by SOM predoc Ed Brignole,
will depart at 6:45 a.m. from Joe's Bike Shop on 5813 Falls
Rd. and will ride to a bike rally outside City Hall. The
second, led by Robert Lawrence, associate dean of
professional education and programs at Public Health, will
leave at 7:45 a.m. from the corner of University Parkway
and North Charles Street and will travel directly to the
East Baltimore campus. A third, led by SPH grad student
Lance Price, will leave Johns Hopkins at Eastern at 7:45
a.m. for the ride to the East Baltimore campus. The fourth
convoy, headed by Janna Howley, project manager for
Environmental Health Sciences, will depart at 7:45 a.m.
from Cross Street Market and also will travel directly to
East Baltimore.
