Lectures

The curtain rises June 17 on Democracy: A Work in Progress, a SummerStage performance in the Mattin Center's Swirnow Theater that continues through July 9. Presented by Homewood Arts Programs, the Maryland Ensemble Theatre production explores democracy — using monologues, scenes and multimedia — through the eyes of citizens both famous and ordinary throughout the course of history. Audience members are encouraged to stay after each show for a discussion with the actors. See Theater.
