Dates Announced for Recognition Events Honoring Staff
Milestones
The Office
of Faculty, Staff and Retiree Programs is beginning to
coordinate the annual series of recognition events held to
celebrate the contributions of staff members reaching
milestone service anniversaries.
Staff members celebrating five, 10 or 15 years of
service with the university, whose service anniversary
falls between July 11, 2004, and July 10, 2005, will be
invited to the following receptions:
School of Medicine, including Physicians Billing
Service and Health Divisions Administration: Tuesday, March
15, Turner Concourse, East Baltimore. Homewood, Peabody,
MSE Library and JHPIEGO: Tuesday, May 10, the Glass
Pavilion, Levering Hall, Homewood. School of Public Health:
Wednesday, June 8, Wolfe Street Building, E2030 Feinstone
Hall. School of Nursing, SAIS and the JHU Press will hold
their own receptions for those celebrating five, 10 or 15
year anniversaries at dates to be announced.
A staff recognition dinner for those celebrating 20,
25, 30, 35 and 40 or more years of service and whose
anniversaries fall between July 11, 2004, and July 10,
2005, will be held on Tuesday, June 7. Staff members with
10 or more years of full-time service who have officially
retired from the university since July 11, 2004, or are
scheduled to retire by July 10, 2005, also will be
recognized at the dinner, which will be held at Homewood's
Ralph S. O'Connor Recreation Center. Staff members planning
to retire between now and July 10, or have retired since
July 11, 2004, should contact Sandy Cobb at scobb@jhu.edu
or 410-516-6060 to ensure proper recognition by the
university.
