JHU/American Red Cross Blood Drives

Blood drives are scheduled throughout the year at Bayview Medical Center, Homewood campus, JHMI in East Baltimore, Hopkins@Eastern, the Peabody Institute and the Applied Physics Laboratory.

The next dates are Feb. 14 and 15 in the Glass Pavilion at Homewood and Feb. 21, 22 and 23 in the Francis Scott Key Pavilion conference room at Bayview. Both first-time and past donors are needed. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended. The complete listing is available at www.jhu.edu/outreach/blooddrive/schedule.html.

Johns Hopkins Professional Clothing Drive

Donate new or gently used professional clothing, including business-casual, through the JHU Professional Clothing Drive. The drive benefits Paul's Place, an outreach center in southwest Baltimore whose mission is to strengthen the community through programs that help needy area residents help themselves. Men's and women's clothing must be bagged or boxed separately to facilitate delivery.

For site and coordinator information, go to www.jhu.edu/hr1/fsrp/clothing.html or contact Matt Smith at 410-516-0345 or mattsmith@jhu.edu.
