Bayview Medical Center Bereavement Service

The palliative care program of Hopkins Bayview will host "Seeds of Hope," a bereavement service to learn about the emotions and questions associated with grief and loss. Services are scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on two dates: Thursday, Sept. 14, and Thursday, Oct. 12. They will be held in the Bayview Care Center conference room in the John R. Burton Pavilion.

2006 Walk for PKD

Polycystic kidney disease is the most common of all life-threatening genetic diseases.

The Walk for PKD is a national event targeted at funding vital research into a cure. The walk takes place Saturday, Sept. 16, at Rash Field in the Inner Harbor. Registration begins at 11 a.m., and the walk starts at noon.
